What is CAMPAC?
CAMPAC funds are used to support candidates, legislators, and ballot measures that reflect the priorities of the real estate finance industry. CAMPAC helps raise the profile of the mortgage banking industry at the California State Capitol and amongst legislators.
Building and activating a strong political action fund helps California MBA to be proactive with its political outreach and allows the association to support policymakers who understand the importance of protecting and promoting the real estate finance industry.
Contributions to CAMPAC are limited to $9,800 per year and are not deductible for federal income tax purposes.

Supporting home ownership and real estate finance as a key contributor to the state’s overall economy.
Avoiding complicated and repetitive compliance procedures, and avoiding regulations that increase cost or reduce access to credit for qualified buyers.
Ensuring proper differentiation between consumer and commercial transactions.
Restoring a competitive property insurance market in California.
